Subject: Art Classes for Fall 2004

Dearest Students and Parents:

As you begin to plan for the upcoming school year, I am sure you are discussing the extra activities you will be making room for in your schedule. And, I know that you expressed interest in continuing or starting art lessons here at Brainspace Art Studios.

I am writing to tell you that I will not be starting classes this fall. We will be moving this semester. I do not want to subject you all to that chaos, so I have decided to postpone starting classes until January 2005.

This gives me time to look for a new place for us to hold classes in case our new residence won’t accommodate.

Please note that my website address will not change and neither will the “866” number. Once we get settled in a new address, I will post it to my website.

So, I hope that you all have a wonderful fall and holiday season and I will be contacting you in the beginning of December (at the latest) to let you know where Brainspace Art Studios has landed. Then, if it works for you, I will look forward to seeing your shining faces back in class!

Drawing on the Right Side of Your Brain
The purpose of this course is to demistify the artistic process -- everyone can draw & have fun doing it! Building perceptual & drawing skills provides a solid foundation for all artistic creation. Additional benefits include increased problem solving skills and comprehension.

Studio Class
Students build drawing and painting skills through class projects as well as independent assignments. It is recommended that the students have some drawing training. For students 12 yrs to adult. Tuition $60

Class Dates & Times: Ages 12yrs. - 18yrs.
Mondays..........5:00 - 6:15 pm

Life Drawing Studio
This open studio time provides an opportunity for artists to create using a live model. Each session is three hours - lots of time to study and practice drawing. Some instruction will be provided, but this is for artists who understand proportion or who want to practice with live models. Artists are responsible for bringing their own supplies, easels will be available (Please no oil paints since ventilation is poor). Come for one session or sign up for all four and get a discount. Studio space is limited, and this will be offered on a first come, first serve basis. For adults 18yrs and above. One session $15 or all four for $55.

Budding Artists
For children between 5 and 7 years of age, this course introduces different art media, shapes, colors , as well as great artists and world cultures. This class runs monthly, with new projects every month. Monthly tuition & material fee $55.
